Types of Surveys

  • A Pre Purchase Survey is a detailed inspection of a new or used vessel's systems, hull and machinery to determine the current condition and value.

  • An Insurance Survey is performed for current owners, usually at the request of an insurance company or finance company to determine the insurable risk and value.

  • A Damage Survey is often performed at the request of an insurance company to determine the extent of damage and cost to repair or replace the vessel.

  • An Appraisal Survey is performed to determine the current fair market value of the vessel.

Consulting Services
